The BGA was established in June 2001 obtaining the license from the State Agency of Youth and Sport. The BGA joined the ‘European Golf Association‘ in the same year and in 2003 became an affiliated member of the ‘Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews’ and joined the International Golf Federation in 2006.
